Gavin at BJA Masters
29 September 2007

Kin Ryu member Gavin Archibald competed at the British Masters held in Thetford.

This is event is the trials to get into the British Masters Squad and be eligible to represent Great Britain, so competition is fierce.

Gavin was unlucky in his draw and his first fight was against the current British champion.

He fought well and was unlucky to be held down for ippon.

In his second fight Gavin took his opponent to the last minute of the contest before he was caught for a small score.

Gavin fought hard to get it back but was unable to do so.

This was a great effort from Gavin and he will be back again next year.
